Yep, excellent plan.  I already plan to do my presentation in the style of
Gangsta Rap so there's no need to get me drunk.  Although I won't complain
if you do.  My presentation is on the thursday morning though but
nevermind.  I'm sure a hangover will help.

b) anyone got any suggestions for a suitable pub / bar in the area - I work

I help 'organise' Pub Standards (such as it is) and we always go to the
Bricklayers Arms on Gresse St which is close to the venue.  They have a good
upstairs bit with sofas and stuff we could probably get for free on a
wednesday night.  It's not massive, I'd say we'd get 70 people or so.  We
are doing a Pub Standards tomorrow night so I could ask if it sounds good to
you all...what reckon?
