[LRUG] A Proud Moment

Thanks Sol!!

It shouldn't give me that much of a buzz as I have many (cough, cough) ASP.NET projects already live.

What this means for me now is that Rails is a serious consideration when I am next considering a new project (well only one that doesn't need localizing! :p), that is what makes me SO happy.

I also wanted to mention that I was using this hosting company http://www.hostmysite.com/ as it is the very first hosting company I haven't found myself tearing my hair out when trying to get support. They really are a top class hosting company which is something that is really hard to find. (Plus they offer free rails hosted site) Only downside is they use apache! Ha ha ha!

Kind Regards

-Tom

Sounds silly, but I'm dead proud of myself... My first actual commercial project for Rails has just been paid for and is going live sometime this week.

It's only a email subscription service, only running for a single customer... but even so.. I can't believe I just got paid for writing Ruby *childish giggle*

...oh man.. I am definitely a geek L there is no hope!
