[LRUG] Hosting deals

Hi all,

On the April meeting thread someone mentioned that peepcode might have user
group discounts and this spurred my brain to remember a discussion I had
with a friend.

This friend of mine runs a hosting company called Web Faction (
http://www.webfaction.com/) and when I last saw him we talked briefly about
getting discounts to user group members for hosting plans.  He was beating
me at bowling and pool at the time, so we didn't get into the nitty gritty,
although the distraction of working out percentages might have helped me
win... must remember this for next time.

If there is any interest from the group I could have a word with him and get
more specific details in time for the April meeting.  I can't promise
anything spectacular, but it might be worth it if you are in the market for
some hosting, and he seemed quite keen on the idea.

ps If you came from the Python world you might have heard of Web Faction
under their old name as they used to be called Python Hosting.
