I host my apps at Rails Machine[1] and have been delighted with  
them.  They are more expensive than some, starting at $75/month for a  
VPS, but the quality of service makes it more than worthwhile.  They  
are always ready with excellent support and advice and I feel  
entirely confident that my apps are in good hands.  So I can spend my  
time on my applications (or windsurfing) and not wrestling with  
obscure sysadmin problems.
