The HR blurb:-

Role Purpose

To build interactive websites, content production systems and other
platforms using client side code.  Has accountability for:

Completing the technical components of projects according to the agreed
specifications on editorial, technical, quality and time requirements
Advising and assisting other team members (editorial, design and technical)
on client side development issues.
Context

FM&T Audio & Music is an established department responsible for digital
radio, digital text, and over 30 websites and other related platforms
including: Radios 1,2,3,4, Five Live, 6music, 1Xtra, Asian Network, BBC7,
and the bbc.co.uk/music sites.

The successful candidate will work in the Future Media and Technology -
Audio & Music department for the Technology & Design team, across websites
and other emerging platforms and in more than one specific interactive area
or genre. The Technology & Design team is comprised of software engineers,
information architects, designers and client side developers.
