[LRUG] Introduction, Shibboleth and Rails

Hey all,

Don't think I've introduced myself yet: I'm Jay, co-founder of
Snipperoo.com, based in Brighton and general coder-for-hire.

I'm a relative Ruby noob, having been working with Rails for a year,
and only really starting to appreciate Ruby proper for the last 6
months.

For one of my freelance gigs it looks like I'm going to have to do
some authentication via Shibboleth  http://shibboleth.internet2.edu/
(another SSO auth. system). Commonly used in universities and
increasingly in e-learning grids; wondered if anyone has had any
exposure to it, ruby-based or not?
