[LRUG] Rocktober

I've talked with Tim's colleague and he'll be rocking up to the November
meeting to show off this widget-based UI stuff. From what he outlined to
me, it sounds quite interesting. For the October meeting I've also sorted
out with Dj Walker-Morgan (one of our extracurricular LRUG speakers) to do a
repeat of his talk from the NFJS Exchange about Netbeans as a ruby
development platform.

So, whilst my main concern, the October meeting, is sorted out, please keep
the suggestions flowing, it's all good stuff. Speaking of which, I have a
stikkit where I collect all this stuff for my own nefarious purposes (e.g.
press-ganging people), does anyone think there's merit to making this list a
tad more public by putting it on the web-site somewhere? Might it help to
make the process more transparent / open?
