Hi,
Yes have used watir with rspec and was pleased with the results.  The
limitation of browsers was the only down side.

In my latest project I have started to use Selenium in a php project and so
far am pleased, there is also a Ruby bridge so should be able to test with
it: http://selenium.rubyforge.org/getting-started.html
