Hmm, strangely (and embarrassingly) I can't find where Sphinx got  
installed.  I installed it like this:

$ cd sphinx-0.9.8-svn-r1112
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/
$ make
$ sudo make install

But it's not in /usr/local and I don't have an /opt directory like  
you.  Do you know how I can find it?
