Totally agree,  I lived in London for the first 4-5 years on less than
30K, went out nearly every night, lived in a nice place in crouch end
and kept up my ridiculous vinyl habit.  I'm also terrible with money
so that's not even being economy about things.

Im enjoying reading this thread.  Very interesting.
