Hi all,

thanks for having me to speak. 

I must mention that the award was designed by
Songkick's talented designer Gideon Bullock (when he
should have been working).

Jay also mentioned that the Methodphitamine now has a
nice NilClass hack in it that looks like this:

my_array.maybe &it.first.reverse.upcase

Hacks that didn't make it into the talk are

 * the evil.rb library by Mauricio Fernandez and

 * the rewrite gem by Raganwald:

The second is an interesting attempt to bring Lispy
macros to Ruby. Eat your heart out Tomasz!
