Thanks for the link Roland, that post sums up many of the thoughts many of us have had about open source development - not least the complete irrationality of working on code that the market seems to prove people aren't willing to pay for. I'd probably better not spend too much time thinking about that though or I'll end up taking the next job that comes along and this project will stall indefinitely!
