That's uncomfortable for me. You're already on the road to divititus, and a
propensity for not using the correct HTML element to represent the data
structure.

Some. 

There is a caveat, most of my current work is data-centric pages like
bbc.co.uk/music and bbc.co.uk/programmes. There isn't much prior art on the
best may to semantically mark up web applications, and so perhaps erb isn't
the best fit for those.
