Not at all. There are a whole bunch of other frameworks and toolkits
out there. Merb's an interesting one, and it's merging with Rails for
the two projects' next major releases. I'm also developing a great
fondness for Sinatra, which is ultra-lightweight and a really nice way
of getting simple tools online easily, and with a low memory
footprint.
