Hi all
Quick post from a long term lurker - I know this is fairly off topic but
was wondering if anyone can help shed some light on an ongoing problem I
have.

Now RoR is a fairly agile development environment and I would argue the
first and still the best.
I have had experience with a consultancy where the user experience team
seem to have serious problems with agile full stop and they say a great
many thing like it stifles creativity etc.

As an ex graphic designer/ Advertising designer myself I find this
confusing - I remember design always being deadline driven - But maybe
this has changed and I missed it?

Anyway - There sounds like there are a lot of contributors/lurkers from
the BBC who hopefully have experience of this and I am wondering if -
Anyone else has encountered this resistance to agile from their
designers/User experience people
If they did how did they get around it or more importantly how if at all
did they manage to get their creative teams on board with agile.

I personally feel - Design is iterative, Agile is iterative so there
really shouldn't be a problem? But it seems some disagree and I cant see
how to bring them round?

Any input despite the off topic nature greatly appreciated
Malcolm
