I've had a request from someone who shares the building I'm in for a few days of a Rails developer's time to tweak and load test their site (http://debatewise.com/) They're a non-profit, but do have some budget for this. (Don't know how much.)

David, their MD, sent me this:

> I run www.debatewise.com, we’re a non-profit and are working with the
> British Council and www.idebate.org on a project for the Copenhagen
> climate change conference in December. In essence, we're forming a
> panel of 1,000 young people from 100 different countries and we’ll ask
> them to debate what's happening in the conference. Some people will
> create the debates, others will vote on them. The idea is to try and
> get a measure of what young people around the world think of what’s
> happening in Copenhagen. We're also running a series of debates after
> the conference. We'll divide panellists into their respective
> countries and will ask them to debate how decisions made at the
> conference will impact on them personally and where they live.
>
> We're getting a lot of interest in this initiative and expect a
> significant increase in traffic on our site during the conference.
> Google have given us 1,000 Wave invites and we'll be running all the
> debates in Wave before publishing them to Debatewise. We've also
> hooked up with The Independent and will be mirroring all Wave created
> debates and running companion debates to a debatewise.com subdomain.
> We expect quite a lot more interest from the media too.

> Please let me know if this is something you're interested in: dc at debatewise.com.

> Thank you.
