[LRUG] Googley Wavey Invitey

So, despite looking like a chat app, it's not particularly useful as a
replacement for IM / IRC / Campfire / <your preferrred chat thingy> as
the UI isn't optimised for that (and live one-char at a time typing is
*weird*). However, it is really useful if you do want to collaborate
with people on writing something.

A good tip might be to search for a public wave and watch the playback
to see how it is built up, that'll give you an idea of what it's
useful for and the sorts of workflows that might come out of it. Just
search for something non-trivial like an FAQ rather than "Wave if you
like sandwiches".

I can't compare it to basecamp as I've never used that, but the
easiest comparison (for me) would be to something like Google Docs
(writely) or etherpad and I think it is much better than those as it's
more structured than just a chat box next to a word doc.
