I assembled a HP Proliant DL320, 4GB RAM, 1x3ghz (spot for another
proc should I need it), 4TB of disk for about £800 (ex VAT).
Co-located in a server room for around £60/month. Doesn't take long to
re-coup the hardware costs once you start getting up into that price
range for hosting.
