[LRUG] Any reliable third party SMTP service other than Google Apps?

Hello There,

   I am tired of managing my self-hosted smtp servers for mail delivery, and
email delivery mechanisms for assured delivery (eg spf , multiple email
addresses etc).  I am looking for thirdparty transactional email delivery
service, which can be responsible for delivering emails and then generate
stats like mailchimp does (no of emails delivered & no of emails actually
opened etc)

Any recommendation for such service?, Please share your experience.

PS: My need is not to use campaigns , but deliver individual notification
emails.

I found: AuthSMTP , Mailchimp(virually supports transaction emails).
