Not exactly answering your question, but I'll share my setup. I have a
cheap PC which is quite beefy with a Win XP host running multiple
instances of VirtualBox with different OSs and IE versions each. I then
setup remote desktop and use Cord on my Mac as a client. Works really
well and still is for more than year or so and it's never broke.
Our designer uses a Mac and loves the setup as it doesn't slow his iMac
down when using Adobe software. Just enforce a convention on the hosts
files rather than localhost to point at their own instances on their own
machines. Doing it this way naturally sets you up for automated testing
overnight as you have all the instances on their own machines etc..
I've got BizSpark MSDN thingy license so I've plenty of installs legally.
Hope this helps as possible route rather than killing you own Mac with
VMs and it's a shared resource for the team ;)
