[LRUG] [OT] OS X - how to bind services to function keys?

Hola El Rug,

First, apologies to non-OS X users.

Now, I know many of you Rubyists use OS X.  I have set up various Services to do simple things like launch Safari, or paste the URL from Safari's active window/tab.  Now I want to set up keyboard shortcuts for each of these using the function keys.  Although I can bind obscure shortcuts like cmd+` it doesn't seem to let me bind the function keys.

Does anyone know how to do this?
