[LRUG] Solr or Sphinx

I vote for sunspot and sunspot_rails (solr).

sunspot v1.0 was just released last night. It features:

- a totally on the case maintainer (Mat Brown), check the activity on http://groups.google.com/group/ruby-sunspot
- great dsl
- multi-select facets
- spatial searching
- no crazy sphinx.conf files which won't do what you want
