This is a estimatation of rates and demand based on real data
of one jobs board.

Anecdotally I haven't seen a reduction in demand.  Meetups and jobs
boards suggest it is still difficult to find experienced Ruby devs,
especially if you are not a VC funded startup with cash to burn. Recent
day rates I've seen banded round are between £250 and £500 depending on
role & experience.
