Scala bindings to the Fly Object Space as a first real-world project. The
implementation was presented at the first ScalaDays in 2010.

Recently he's introduced Scala to UBS and is leading a new project
implemented in Scala and Lift.

Ludwik Grodzi: Head of Data Architecture at Qubit

Ludwik is a senior financial analyst who has previously worked for
Sainsbury's and Google to analyse large data sets.
He is currently responsible for designing a large proportion of the Qubit
data flow using a combination of shell scripting and Hive.

Thomas Fuller: Managing Director at Coherent Logic

Thomas Fuller is a software engineer with over 10 years experience, and the
managing director of Coherent Logic, a Java and Grails consultancy.
Thomas also developed the Grails Infinispan plugin, allowing intergration of
the JBoss Infinispan Data Grid with Grails applications.

bespoke solutions for clients with complex information management

and is an advocate of choosing the right tools for the job.

Paul Mardling: Senior Technical Architect at ioko

Paul has been working with Java since 1996, predominantly in the media and
entertainment sector. He has worked on a number of high profile broadcaster
websites and more recently on their video on demand offerings. He has
