[LRUG] Fwd: Speaker Exchange - We have a Website - Very Basic

I mentioned the Ruby User Group Speaker Exchange Program at the start of the
last meeting (or maybe the one before that). Anyway, it's got a website now
so it's all official: http://speakerexchange.org/ and there are some more
details below in Thilo's email.

The idea is to send a speaker from one user group to another to give a talk,
and probably talk a little about the user group they've come from. The hope
is that there will be sponsorship to cover the costs of these little
exchanges. If you want to get involved, as a speaker or sponsor or
whatever, have a look and get in touch.

Cheers

Hi,

I setup a very basic website with jekyll under http://speakerexchange.org.

I think its important to have something online to point people to.

As i suck in design, I just added some text. It would be awesome if
somebody can add a basic design for now.

You can find the page at https://github.com/thilo/speakerexchange

I you want to support the exchange by
coding,designing,promoting,speaking or financing join
http://groups.google.com/group/usergroup-speaker-exchange/about

Cheers
Thilo
