[LRUG] Coding meet up

I'd be keen. I was slightly apprehensive about attending the Ruby golf because
I thought my rusty Ruby skills would just be an embarrassment, but I had great
fun and the whole atmosphere was really encouraging, so I didn't feel in the
least embarrassed. I'd love to do more: pairing with a more experienced Rubyist
seems like a great way to learn, and I've been thinking for ages that I should
contribute more back to the Ruby community (like patches) but not really knowing
where to start.

Subject: [LRUG] Coding meet up

Hi,

I really enjoyed Ruby golf on Monday (and last years code dojo too).

Does anyone want to meet up every couple of weeks to write & read code together?
No presentations - just coding.

I'm thinking of working on interesting problems and submitting Rails patches,
similar to Seattle.rb.

Keith
