Deployment Architect, San Francisco CA
Our Client has a white label platform already powering homerun.com,
yellowpages.com, and many other of the world's largest corporations in
e-commerce, financial services, and travel.
. Deployment architects will be responsible for creating and
maintaining the patterns used for implementing white label consumer
interfaces for large scale offers platforms.
. The resulting product of a deployment architects effort will be
two fold.
. Have a standardized implementation architecture such that white
label implementations will be easy to maintain and simple to deploy.
. Secondly they will work with onsite project managers to address
customer customizations and recommend enhancements to the backend platforms.
Essential Functions
. Develop flexible whitelabel application architecture leveraging
existing backend APIs.
. Train offshore staff how to implement white label implementations
using established architecture.
. Work with project managers and other engineering teams to expand
platform functionality
Skills
Must have a deep knowledge of:
. Ruby and Ruby on Rails
. Service Oriented Architectures
. HTML (HAML a plus)
. CSS (SASS and SCSS a plus)
. JavaScript (CoffeeScript a plus)
. RSpec and Cucumber
. Bilingual Chinease Madarin and English
Experience nice to haves:
. Riak, Redis or other document/key-value stores
. Compass CSS framework
. Test Drive Development
