Hi all,
We're looking for 2 junior Ruby on Rails developers to join our development
team at Specle.
I founded Specle a few years ago to solve a problem in print advertising
production. Information on how to prepare files for magazines & newspapers
was hidden and controlled by pre-press companies - often charging 100s of
£££ an ad. Specle disrupted this market by centralising ad production
information online and providing online reporting and preflighting tools to
help print advertisers prepare and deliver ads to publishers.
Specle now works with most of the major publishers in the UK such as IPC,
New International, Associated, and Condé Nast. We also work with the
production departments of most of the major creative agencies such as VCCP,
BBH, McCann London.
An opportunity now exists for Specle to move into the tablet, and digital
markets. There is big change happening in the publishing industry. Its an
industry that is seeing the urgency to re-invent itself. The publishers we
work with are really passionate about doing that. Technology and thinking
is constantly evolving in this market, and we'll be working right on the
edge of it.
We're based in Covent Garden, London. We're funded, and generating
revenue. We've got a team of 7 people which we're looking to grow to about
15 in London.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in - or know anybody that
is - please contact me, or apply on our Jobs page on LinkedIn -

I'll also be at next Tuesday's LRUG meeting and would be happy to meet
Very best regards
