[LRUG] Today's monthly meeting and paper_trail

I've been using "audited-activerecord" (
https://github.com/collectiveidea/audited ) since it was the
"acts_as_audited" plugin for Rails 2.

I'm pretty happy with it, although there was quite an awkward patch and
migration I had to do to update things after the rails core team
appropriated one of their column names as a keyword.

Other than that, it's been trouble free, and a really useful part of our
system. The table does get pretty big though, so we just keep a rolling six
months of audits.

I'll be at LRUG tonight, so feel free to find me in the pub if you want to
discuss.

David
