I would suggest that you speak to a solicitor. Many will offer an initial
consultation for free and this would probably be enough to answer your
question. They can then represent you if you attempt to get your unpaid
invoices paid.

I know people are often allergic to using solicitors but as with most other
specialists, they know what they're talking about and could save you a lot
of time and money in incorrect hunches and ignored correspondence.
