About at{mine}
at{mine} is a new social start up for home & design lovers that allows
brands to benefit from social discovery.  Just launched as a Beta we’re
initially focused on London but the site is designed for a global market
and will be rolled out quickly to other cities.

Job Description
We are looking for a talented Ruby developer to take ownership of the site
development and grow with us in a lead technical position with a clear CTO
trajectory (incl. related benefits).

We’re a creative start up using technology to problem solve, and as such
offer plenty of opportunity for innovation. In this early stage it’s an
exciting time to join and the role naturally carries a lot of
responsibilities. Coding will be a large part of the job but it’s equally
important that you have the strategic vision to help drive at{mine} to the
next level of functionality and performance.

Who we are
We are a small multinational team with extensive experience in investment
banking and a passion for design.  We’re highly focused on achieving
success, but we like to have a laugh and enjoy a drink and the sunshine as
much as the next guy!

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience (3+ years specifically Ruby)
- Ruby on Rails (3.2 and above)
- Postgres 9 (hosted on Heroku Postgres)
- Managing sites hosted on Heroku
- Strong front-end skills such as HTML5, CSS, Coffeescript are a must.
(Ideally with OOP Javascript)
- Experience of configuring Amazon Web Services, specifically S3
- Experience in Social and/or e-commerce preferred but not a prerequisite

Our office is based in central London but for the right person location and
working arrangements can be more flexible if needed.
