Personally I don't feel it's fair to witch hunt people, or worse, damage a
company's reputation over a misguided post to a mailing list. We can ask
what they meant by said post, we can ask them to apologise, but should we
flame or think ill of the misguided? Perhaps we should help them in a
friendly manner going forward.

This relates to both gender and recruitment issues.
