As a Woman I would prefer it if people do not patronise me by calling me a
girl. The event is called Rails Girls, but that doesn't mean the Women
involved have to be referred to as Girls.

If you look at the Rails Girl's website you will see that Women are
referred to as Women. http://guides.railsgirls.com/guide/

But what do I know, I'm just a Woman, err, sorry, girl.
