[LRUG] [JOBS] 3 Ruby on Rails Developers Urgently Required

Good afternoon,
My Client, a global video game developer, publisher and distribution company, require an online systems platform developer to join their team to maintain the operations of the platform that provides their business with player related services. This platform manages single sign-on across all websites and games and links users to their identities on other platforms.
The successful candidate will need strong, commercially proven experience developing Ruby on Rails applications. They will be expected to participate in architectural design and planning, as well as contributing to the ongoing documentation of the project and provide support for the games teams using the platform.
Key Deliverables:

  *   Developing and maintaining essential systems powering the Membership platform for player management and associated services.
  *   Development and Documentation of API services to provide connectivity to the Membership platform
  *   Database Management and Design with support from other stakeholders for continued efficient running of the Membership Platform
  *   Ongoing technical management, in conjunction with other internal stakeholders, of Online development projects.
  *   Functional requirement gathering and documentation for the Membership Platform.
  *   Online application development experience in a creative, data driven industry.
  *   Developing applications using Ruby on Rails
  *   Modern source control and version management systems, including git
  *   Simple Database design and operation
  *   Development within a Linux environment
  *   Team player, Self-motivating,Attention to detail.
  *   Proven ability to manage technical projects with competing demands from different stakeholders.
Desirable:

  *   Understanding of server and networking infrastructure.
  *   Application development and management in cloud environments such as Amazon AWS
  *   Web or online application development experience in some segment of the videogames industry.
  *   Development experience in an online commercial environment.
  *   Other technologies for web application development (e.g. ASP.NET, Java, Perl, Python, Puppet etc.)
  *   PHP experience.
  *   Advanced Database design and operation including experience with NoSQL and KV stores
  *   Knowledge of web development technologies, especially HTML(5) & CSS(3), cross-browser techniques, JavaScript (JQuery) skills.
  *   Experience with SOA
