It seems more reasonable, to me, to assume that someone attending an
LRUG meeting is no more than simply interested in Ruby, and is perhaps
at most, a Ruby 'enthusiast'. That is, unless an interest in (or an
enthusiasm for) Ruby necessarily makes someone a 'Ruby developer'.

Then again, why assume even that?

Full disclosure: I do not consider myself a 'Ruby developer' (this would
be an insult to all developers everywhere), and I did in fact attend the
on Monday night. I will admit that I did ask this question at least a
couple of times, and I am truly sorry if that bothered or offended
anyone. I thoroughly enjoyed the meeting and all of the talks, and found
most of those with whom I spoke to be very welcoming, even to a
non-'developer' like me.
