You’re a developer with a passion for creating well written software.
You
challenge yourself to learn and improve and you support others doing the
same.
You want your work to add up to something – something big.
You’re available soon to work on MyWave customer projects in Auckland
New
Zealand (3 month Contract).
Longer term, there’s the opportunity to join the core MyWave development
team based in Melbourne.
There are some baseline technical requirements. You’ll need experience
in
delivering responsive Web & REST based applications or SAAS platforms at
scale. You’ll be at home using more than one programming language,
practising
Test Driven Design, and you’ll have a good understanding of
Object Oriented
Design. Any Smalltalk experience would be considered an advantage but
it’s not
a requirement as we mainly use Ruby, Java and Javascript. Most important
is your
attitude, your passion for product design, and your ability to learn
quickly and put
those learnings to work.
MyWave is developing a whole new way for people and companies to get
things
done together online. Our MyWave CMR platform combines the Internet Of
Things, Personal Clouds
and the MyWave Personal Assistant. MyWave users own their own data,
decide who they to share their
data with, and get the things done in their daily lives faster, better,
and under their control.
Founded by former SAP North America president Geraldine McBride, MyWave
has
just completed a successful first round fundraising and is aiming for a
NZX listing next
year. Xero’s founding chariman Phil Norman heads the MyWave Board.
Software
development is led by MyWave’s CTO James Ladd - an international
technical speaker
and the creator of the Redline Smalltalk programming language.
MyWave is out in front of the next wave of VRM and CRM software
development. If that sounds like a place where you want to be, then
please send your
CV to: jobs at mywave.me
Strictly no agents please.
