5) It took me a long time to realize that CMSes exist in part because deployment, and as a result change, was so difficult. That’s still true if the people adding content don’t use git but I’ve been blessed to work with technical teams the past few years. Getting the marketing team to add/edit content via GitHub turned out to be totally fine which meant a database backed CMS was overly complicated and usually less flexible.
