Gentle is looking for a talented Ruby developer, preferably with frontend skills and a feeling for UI design. Join our team and help us build applications for diagnosing and even preventing rare diseases in children. Remote work possible.

We’re a fast-growing startup, providing DNA interpretation services to labs and hospitals around the world.  
Our team of geneticists relies on a robust, cutting-edge application suite to deliver accurate, well-founded interpretations of patient DNA, all within a fast turnaround time.
To expand our analysis software, we’re hiring a software engineer to join our team.
You’ll work with other engineers and geneticists to build out new features and strengthen existing functionality.


We’re looking for a candidate who
- has a BSc or MSc in informatics, engineering, or a related field
- has previous experience working with modern programming languages/frameworks, and is comfortable learning new ones.  You’ll be working with multiple languages on a daily basis.
- is familiar with modern software development methods: version control, and automated testing.
- can own (part of) a product, and can work independently towards a goal:  we have a hands-off management style.
