Hello - we are a funded 'search/ results' startup with a part-finished front
end and are hoping a talented front-end developer can join us for a few days
initial and then with various ongoing work. THIS WEEK.

The design mantra is 'clean professional'.... a skype-style look.

We are London-based. Our old site is in an old version of Bootstrap and we
are migrating across to the latest version of Foundation.
The main results page is nearly complete and we have an outline homepage.

We would like:
 - the rest of the site/ 8 pages to be skinned
 - log in/ register
 - user settings
 - about us [pictures of the team etc]
 - homepage improved
 - work on navigation bar drop down menus/ user-specific menus
 - modifications to do with responsiveness/ what happens on a mobile/ ipad
device etc as we turn horizontal to vertical etc - currently this is not
configured correctly.

The site is latest version ruby/ rails/ postgres/ Heroku/ bit bucket

We are looking forward to hearing from you with:
 - availability
 - day rate
 - skills/ experience

Hi Dan,

Congratulations of reaching your funding target for No More Filing.

The timing is great, as my last contract has just finished and I'm looking
for a project for the new year.

I have many years experience of building APIs, for both my own projects and
for my clients. In 2009 I launched the very first journey planner app for
London to use live data from TfL. This was way before the official API, so
I had to write my own by scraping data from the web site!

My most recent work has been with Blacklane, a car service provider based
in Berlin. We supported several mobile apps running off our RESTful backend
platform built in Rails.

Prior to that I created an iOS app for discovering streetfood in London,
along with a corresponding Rails CMS for managing the data for the API.
Having the experience of building mobile apps means I know which qualities
make up a good, developer-friendly API.

My other work experience includes NotOnTheHighStreet.com, the BBC and
Thomson Reuters.

My CV can be found here should you need any further information:
