Good to hear from you,

To be completely honest, its unscientifically collated, but there is so much subtle nuance to what truly determines salary that when scientifically collated the data ends up not reflecting reality. A good example of this is It Jobs watch: https://www.itjobswatch.co.uk/jobs/uk/ruby%20on%20rails.do

I’ve recruited Ruby developers non-stop since 2011 so its basically just my gut feeling of where salaries/rates are at from dealing with it on a daily basis.
