[LRUG] Deleted the contents of ~/.zshrc and ~/.bashrc, system can't find rubygems.

Just to highlight the above point from Luke - I've also found it invaluable
to commit all my dotfiles and folders (e.g. .vim) to a git repo and pushing
it up to github.  You can then symlink the actual files in and gain all the
advantages of version controlling your environment :)!

Very useful for backup purposes and when trying to work out *why* you've
got some random line in your .bashrc which doesn't seem to make any sense.
