[LRUG] [JOBS] Contractor available

Hi all,

I've just recently finished a contract and am looking for a new London
based Ruby / Rails project for the next 3 - 6 months, from mid November.

*About me*
I've been a Ruby developer and technical leader since ‘09 in a variety of
early stage roles – from lead developer to Head of Technology.

At my most recent start-up (Fixers) we went from idea to a revenue
generating MVP in 6 weeks and got accepted into the YCombinator S18 batch.

Since leaving that business I've been working as Product Owner at Appear
Here. Working with the CEO we refocused the product teams to deliver
consistent measurable customer impact and away from "big upfront design"
projects. I also delivered a data warehousing project to make the Product
Team's metrics visible to the rest of the business – using Segment, Stitch
& Looker.

*Where I can help*

   - As an experienced developer I'm as comfortable building something from
   scratch as working with legacy code
   - After working with multiple early stage businesses and going through
   YCombinator's program I can help new businesses find the metrics that
   matter and deliver a solid MVP
   - I also enjoy working to increase the productivity of teams by coaching
   developers and cultivating good workflows with Git, automated testing and
   CI / CD.
