[LRUG] [ANN] February Meeting details

Hi again,

We’ve added a couple more talks:

* “Strings: Interpolation, Optimisations and bugs” by Matt Valentine-House
* “WET: Why DRY isn't always best” by Fell Sunderland

Slightly more detail on these, and the previously announced talks available
at https://lrug.org/meetings/2023/february/

Math fans will spot that 1 + 3 + 2 is *still* not 8. We have one more talk
waiting for final confirmation, so if you wanted to skate in and snatch one
of those last slots please do get in touch! We’ll have plenty of space in
future meetings too but this is a great chance to get a last minute 10
minute slot.

We’ve also checked with the venue and raised the capacity so while the
event was sold out, there are now a few more tickets available. Get them
here:
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/london-ruby-user-group-february-2023-meeting-tickets-518578521317

If you have a ticket and know you can’t make it, please use the tools in
eventbrite to give it up and it’ll go automatically back up for sale.
There is a waitlist, but it doesn’t work how we thought (e.g. it’s manual
and returned tickets go for sale directly, not to the waitlist) so for now
the best option is to just keep checking the site if it’s sold out and hope
you can spot a free-d up ticket.

Cheers,

Murray
