Hello! 👋
In case you don’t know, Cherrypick is an AI-led meal planning and grocery shopping platform (not another food delivery app promise) that helps busy families get their meals and shopping sorted easily 💪 We’ve had over 400K households signup, strong product market fit survey results and a NPS of +73.
We’re looking for a full stack software engineer with a few years experience building Rails APIs, ideally enjoys platform tooling with Go, and can also help out on our Flutter app when needed. Just the Ruby experience is needed though - you’ll get plenty of support directly from me to learn the bits of our technology you’re unfamiliar with and this is a good opportunity to branch out.
We are an experiment-led culture aiming to ship at least an experiment a week with 5-10 experiments running at any time. When we get it right we ship experiments within a day or two of thinking of them.
So …. do you:
- have the courage to ship fast?
- thrive in a fast-paced startup environment?
- make things happen even when there’s ambiguity?
- calmly handle competing priorities?
- have experience using at least one of Ruby on Rails, Go or Flutter professionally?
- love picking up new technologies fast?
- have a passion for solving real customer problems?
If so you should probably apply: https://apply.workable.com/cherrypick/j/02F9AE6F1D/
A few more details:
Salary range: £60K - £80K depending on experience, with EMI options. This is a level 1 or low 2 on our public salary framework - see our team page for more on our website (https://www.cherrypick.co/team)
Location: Everyone works from home most of the time. About two days a week many of us work from Cherrypick Lodge, our beautiful London Bridge riverside office and kitchens. We plan this so we're around at the same time - nothing worse than a pointless journey to the office! You need to be close enough to the office that this wouldn't be an issue.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Chris
PS: Please no agencies, we already have preferred partners and are not looking for new recruiters.
