[LRUG] [JOBS] Mid-level Rails developer sought for 4 months starting 1st June

Hi LRUG

We are a small company working on specialist Rails apps for UK hospitals and seek an experienced Ruby developer to help us expand. The work is essentially 100% remote with possible occasional meetings in London. The pay scale is £400-500 per day depending on experience. The initial contract would be for 4 months with possible extension or full-time hiring.

We have previously advertised for a permanent employee but we are happy to hire a contractor to help with several new projects.

Essential skills required:

  *   At least 6 years Ruby on Rails experience
  *   Excellent SQL skills + PostgreSQL experience
  *   JavaScript using stimulus and turbo.
  *   Docker
  *   Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a small team
  *   Experience managing Linux environments using the command line

Useful/desirable:

  *   Azure or other cloud PaaS/IaaS deployment
  *   Experience with Rails engines
  *   Tailwindcss
  *   Mirth Connect integration engine; HL7/FHIR
  *   NHS/healthcare experience
