[LRUG] Looking for fractional work

Hi LRUG,

Hope you’re all keeping well. I’m currently open to new opportunities as a Ruby on Rails contractor and wanted to share a quick note here. I’m available for fractional (part-time) engagements, fully remote or hybrid depending on location.

I’ve been working with Rails for over 14 years, most recently as a Senior Integrations Engineer at Alertive. My experience spans delivery improvement, team mentoring, and hands-on work across the stack.



Some of the things I’ve spent a fair bit of time with over the years:

Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, JavaScript (Node, Vue, Angular, React), Python (ML), Go, Tailwind CSS, SQL, RSpec, Minitest, GraphQL, Heroku, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, event-driven architecture, CLI tools, and payments.



If you know of a team or project that could use an experienced engineer, either long term or just a few days a month, I’d be happy to have a chat.
