I've purchased it and it's pretty good and it has a substantial chapter on deploying on Windows where it describes how to do it, and why you shouldn't :-). I've got something on rails at home in dev which I'd like to get live on the net, if only for me. So, I eagerly read the chapter on deployment and was rather disheartened. I'm a Windows person, and read that that was not to be recommended.<br> <br>So, can anyone offer and advice on getting my app running somewhere, either on a machine of my own or a hosting provider somewhere? I don't mind installing Linux somewhere, but have really no clue how to administer it.
