To expand on my +1.. <div><div><br></div><div>I think this is good idea as it means you get to find out about more stuff that is going on and useful tools/libs that might be worth using.</div><div><br></div><div>There is usually only so much time in the pub afterwards and it's not always possible to get to chat to everyone so having it upfront like this should lead to a greater sharing of knowledge. <br>

<br>We always used to have a section at the beginning of each meeting - about 15min... for everyone to hold an informal discussion on the current "state of play" in the Ruby/Rails world - ie nobody stood up to talk at everybody, just a microphone was passed around and anybody could leap in with anything interesting they found recently, projects  they've been working on, prominent new uptake of rails... or otherwise.<br>
