Hi all,<div><br></div><div>The Dojo meeting is fast approaching (it's on Wednesday, please register with Skills Matter: <a href="http://skillsmatter.com/event/ajax-ria/lrug-sep">http://skillsmatter.com/event/ajax-ria/lrug-sep</a> and then sign up to a group for the Dojo: <a href="http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Ai86AO7glNC9dFg4cEJkSUhOaEpCT0VHNnlWYnFld0E&hl=en_GB">http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Ai86AO7glNC9dFg4cEJkSUhOaEpCT0VHNnlWYnFld0E&hl=en_GB</a>) and we need to sort out some logistics.</div>
<div><br></div><div>We're going to have 3 groups, so we'll need 3 laptops. Thus I'm looking for some volunteers (more than 3 for redundancy) to prep their laptops before hand and make sure they have the appropriate display adapters with them on the night.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Laptop Prep:</div><div><br></div><div>Ruby 1.8.6</div><div>Gems: cucumber, flog, rake</div><div>Matt Wynne's minesweeper dojo code: <a href="http://github.com/mattwynne/kata-minesweeper/tree/master">http://github.com/mattwynne/kata-minesweeper/tree/master</a> (this is the problem we'll be Dojo-ing with)</div>
<div>an text editor of some kind (not wishing to start an editor holy war, but something most people can use straight off is what we want, so emacs, a vi descendant or fancy bloated IDE are probably not really appropriate for this sort of thing - something simple like TextMate, SciTE, UltraEdit, E are preferrable)</div>
<div>git (so that each pair can commit as they go and we can push them to the LRUG github repo once we're done. People can then "replay" the DOJO to learn about refactoring etc...)</div><div><br></div><div>
Display adapters:</div><div><br></div><div>The projectors that Skills Matter are providing take VGA input, so you'll need a <whatever your laptop has> to VGA adapter. Chances are the 3rd screen (I think Matt Wynne is providing it) will take VGA too, but I'll let Matt confirm that.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Cheers,</div><div><br></div><div>Muz</div>
