Hi all,

Thanks for the feedback so far about the Surrey Rubyists User Group. I've had quite a bit of interest and have updated the blog which details:

http://surreyrubyists.tumblr.com/post/3110729537/initial-feedback-is-good

If you are interested in attending or speaking, please take a look and let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance

Andy

On Wed, Feb 2, 2011 at 8:45 PM, Andy Pike <andy.pike.mail@gmail.com> wrote:
I've setup a page to explain everything here:

http://surreyrubyists.tumblr.com

I am obviously aware of the lrug but it's a bit hard for me to get into London in time for it so setting up a new User Group closer to home seems like a good idea as long as there is enough interest for me and other Ruby developers that can't quite make it up to London.

So at the moment I'm trying to gauge the interest level and also find some speakers that would be willing to present a session. Currently the favoured location seems to be Guildford but I'm also considering Woking or even Farnham. So what do you guys think? Do you have any comments or suggestions? What would your preferred location be? I'm happy to make sure our nights don't clash if that is a problem.

I'd be interested in what you guys think.

Regards

Andy
T: @andypike
